The Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce has now given companies until April 15, 2011 to remove words such as “luxury”, “royal”, “supreme” and “high class” from billboards, or face a 30,000 yuan ($4,500) fine.

Coca-Cola “Happiness Truck” takes place in Rio de Janeiro and is a twist on the original idea, which showed a Coke machine that spit out free Cokes, flowers, balloon animals, pizza and submarine sandwich at a college cafeteria. This time around, a special truck dispenses free Cokes as well as a beach toy, a surfboard, sunglasses, beach chairs, t-shirts and soccer balls.

When Pfizer wanted to mark Viagra’s 11th birthday, they wanted to do it in typical, tongue-in-cheek Viagra style. A party blower (featuring a Viagra pill pattern) was created to hand out to internal sales teams. The message on the piece encouraged the sales teams to ‘Celebrate Viagra’s 11th birthday’.
