I am sure you have been to a Starbucks somewhere on this planet and you have been asked for your name in order to get the right order when it is ready. But the funny part is when your name is a little tricky and cannot be heard or written correctly.

That is why I was lately shooting my cup every time the barista gave me a new name, some of them got it right and some of them went far away.

To be honest, every time i am asked my name, I do pronounce and articulate it well to make sure I am playing a fair game :-)

As Albert Einstein said: “Two Things Are Infinite: the Universe and Human Stupidity”, we can clearly see this theory applied every day somewhere in Lebanon.

It does not matter if the municipality is asking people not to stick any ads on the bridge pillar, someone very clever will come and stick an ad exactly under the warning. And it looks like previously someone had its ad directly on the warning itself but it was removed.

A colleague came back from a market visit with the below photo from Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
The photo might look normal to many at first sight but the idea of selling a product typically prepared by New York Jewish pickle makers (wikipedia entry) in Saudi Arabia looks weird.
