When the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York unsealed an indictment accusing the owners of PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Absolute Poker of bank fraud, money laundering and illegal gambling last week, it sent shockwaves through the online poker world.
The FBI blocked Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars and Absolute Poker after executives behind the sites were accused of bank fraud, money laundering and violating gambling laws.
