It has now been 12 days since Israel began its bombardment of the Gaza Strip. On January 3rd, the Israeli Defense Force ground troops began entering Gaza, soon cutting the territory in half. Israel’s stated goals are to end rocket attacks originating from Gaza – which had increased sharply following the end of a cease-fire agreement in December.

The Armenian diaspora is a term used to describe the communities of Armenians living outside of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. Of the total Armenian population living worldwide (in 2004 estimated to be 9,000,000), only about 3,000,000 live in Armenia and about 130,000 in Nagorno-Karabakh.
The Armenian diaspora population is estimated to be 8,000,000. (click here to see a chart of population breakdown by country).
The below map gives a clear idea that Armenians are almost all over the world, and I am proud being one of them.
29 December 2008 … it’s NFL‘s black Monday, it’s not even 9:30 a.m. and already three NFL coaches have lost their gigs.
The Detroit Lions have fired coach Rod Marinelli, in New York the Jets have terminated Eric Mangini and in Cleveland, the Romeo Crennel.
This is very weird to understand that coaches missing a season are fired this simple and America’s biggest corporate CEOs messed up with millions and billions of dollars and American consumers lost around 3 Trillions, and still they are enjoying their big desks and offices and some of them still looking to have their 2008 bonuses.
By the way, I am a New England Patriots fan !!!
