Boots the English chemist, opened its new stores outside UK, in the Arabian Gulf and specifically in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, also they will be having stores in Kuwait.

You can not imagine the quantity of UNMIK and KFOR cars you see when you visit Kosovo.
I took the above UNMIK car picture on a traffic light on my way to the airport and the KFOR jeep (Italian Carabinieri) when I arrived to the airport.

I have visited the 4 major retailers in Pristina, Kosovo, where I have discovered that retail distribution is much developed in this country and of course already international chains are present such as ERA and INTEREX.
I believe once this country is granted its independance, other players will attack this potential and promising market.

I have stayed in Hotel Victory in Pristina, I took this photo the last day when I left the hotel to catch my trip back home. Actually the hotel was heavily guarded when I arrived by the Italian Carabinieri and the French Gendarmerie, then I knew that an important delegation from NATO was in town and were staying with me in the same hotel.By the way, they have the fastest internet connection I have ever used during my trips in a hotel.
