This is a picture of Bratislava from my hotel room, unfortunately it was rainy today in Slovakia.
To see all the pictures I shot, please go here.
I will be going to Bratislava in Slovakia (map) for 4 days.
Did you know that Vienna and Bratislava are the world’s most closest 2 capitals ?
Only 55 km !
On my way to Sofia, 2 days ago, I was reading the inflight magazine of Hemus Air, the Bulgarian airlines and it draw my attention on a page where they are showing their worldwide offices addresses and a flag next to each country, how many flags looks a look alike when they are down-scaled. Mainly you can find this happening a lot with arab countries, where you can barely make the difference between many countries, so below is your visual test.
Also another test but less eye-stressful coming from Europe.
Every political party in Lebanon now have a color and a sign.
Guess which one is mine?
Everytime I travel, I really make sure that I have the proper documents with me so I dont really get surprised during my journeys. So before taking this flight, I have called the Hungarian embassy in Beirut and I was informed that if I am travelling through Hungary to another country, I have the right to stop over up to maximum 5 days with my Schengen visa, which means I dont need to have a Hungarian visa and this is my case, as I am leaving on wednesday morning to Sofia, Bulgaria. |

I arrived this morning around 06:15 to Budapest Ferihegy airport with Malev airlines and after waiting in the line for like 30 minutes, I presented myself to the authorities and the guy was like crazy asking for my Hungarian visa and asking me, why I “bought” so many visas on my passport but I did not for Hungary. So I explained to him that I have called the embassy and I was informed that I can use my Schengen visa to enter Hungary, so he was not convinced, so surprised and had no idea about this issue. So he had to take his phone and call “someone” and speak with him for 2-3 minutes, while I was standing in front of him and getting not one word. After hanging up the phone, he looked at me and said, well you are right but next time buy a hungarian visa and stamped my passport.
Welcome to Hungary! |
I arrived to Malpenza Airport on the 11th of November and took the train from the airport to downtown Milano, when I went out of the train station, the above sign was showing the date and the temperature, what a coincidence !
When in Paris, you might wonder how to go around and see the interesting stuff there, all you have to do is to pick one of those colored buses, unlimited on/off jumps, price 22 euros, ticket valid for 2 days.
